Follow the Bruce highway (main highway between Cairns and Brisbane) south to Innisfail, then another 30 minutes south of Innisfail to the township of El Arish. Just after you enter the 80klm speed zone at El Arish, you will see on the left hand side a petrol station (no name) and a road (Cassowary Drive) turning to the left to Mission Beach. Turn left on this road. Follow this road for approximately 18klm to arrive at Clump Point jetty - don't turn off this road. (Approximately 16klm will bring you into the village of Mission Beach; a further 2 klms will bring you to Clump Point jetty, on the right hand side). You will see a public toilet facility and a public telephone box on the right hand side of the road, and ticket offices (kiosks) near the water and the jetty.

Ex Townsville: Travel time from Townsville City is approximately 3 hours. Please allow extra travel time for road works, fuel, coffee stops etc.

Follow the Bruce Highway (main highway between Brisbane and Cairns) north to Tully. 2 or 3 klms north of Tully, just after you enter back into the 100klm speed zone, you will see a turn to the right with signs to Mission Beach; turn right here. Continue on this road for approximately 27klms until you some to a T intersection, where you have to make a choice of which direction to turn - turn right at the T intersection. From this turn, travel for 4 klms (don't turn off anywhere) and you will come to Clump Point jetty on the right hand side. You will see a public toilet facility and a public telephone box on the right hand side of the road, and ticket offices (kiosks) near the water and the jetty.
